Hailing from the Gold Coast, Chelsea Hackett is one of Australia’s most dynamic combat athletes.
She began her martial arts journey at just eight years old, earning her junior black belt in Taekwondo by age 12. Her transition to Muay Thai under the legendary John Wayne Parr at Boonchu Gym saw her rise fast—becoming a two-time IFMA World Champion and capturing the prestigious WBC World Lightweight title. Chelsea closed out her Muay Thai career with an impressive 16-4-3 record.
In 2019, she switched codes and debuted in MMA with Eternal MMA, later earning a shot on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2020. In 2023, she signed with the Professional Fighters League (PFL), announcing her arrival with a dominant submission win at PFL 7.
Outside the cage, Chelsea became a household name after competing in Survivor Australia: Brains vs Brawn in 2021. Her time on the show revealed another side of her—tough, strategic, and unshakably composed under pressure. That national exposure introduced her to a wider audience and set the stage for more crossover appeal.
Now with over 30,000 engaged followers, Chelsea blends her fighting career with a genuine interest in fashion, lifestyle, and wellness. She’s part of the next wave of elite women in MMA and has her sights firmly set on becoming a world champion in the PFL.
